Staying Consistent Abroad

  1. Bondi Studios is a studio located very close to the Salzburg city center. Don’t ask me, I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to find my feet and a Reformer Pilates spot in Salzburg to keep me consistent while I’m here. But let’s not dwell on the past; I’ve found us a good spot to make our Reformer Pilates dreams come true, people. When it comes to studios, I’m a sucker for aesthetics, Allegro beds, and Bala weights. And Bondi Studios is just that, very similar to June in Vienna or Nueground in London if you’ve ever been. I’m fortunate to be able to afford my preferences and recommend based on my personal experiences. That being said, PilatesBodyRaven on YouTube is a fantastic alternative for home workouts, completely free, and focused on reformer Pilates movements—I do her workouts all the time and I’m a tiny fangirl about it.
  2. Smart Watch. I recently folded, caved, gave in to yet another digital product that tracks my every move. *yet she installs headpiece to deal with being overstimulated at all times*. But I have to say, it’s provided me with a deeper insight into my habits and motivates me to top myself in my activity ventures.
  3. Running. Yeah, I also don’t know how that happened. But here I am, logging my 5Ks on Strava and saying things like ‘slow and steady wins the race.’ In all honesty though, running has provided a convenient option to stay on top of my health and mental well-being without needing much equipment ( just my Hoka trainers and bum bag for my Burts Bees & Keys). I can elevate and work on my own PB goals in my own time and the logging workouts has helped to keep at it.

Alright, 3’s enough for now. Would love to know what you do for consistency and to keep on top of your health and wellbeing journey, inspire me to add a few points pleeeeease.
